The Blue Watch

Player Valuation: £10m
I am off work today and there's no way Everton are ruining my weekend. I thought we could all do with some cheering up.

Some things that are making me feel optimistic this morning:

- Vlasic and Lookman are very exciting players.
- Pickford is going to be our number one for years.
- I don't have to watch Koeman's uninterested attitude anymore.
- Maybe the biggest feel good factor of all, Everton aren't playing today.

Go.

Pickford - Star keeper
Coleman - I'm not his biggest fan, but sorely missed
Keane - Shown glimpses of quality, needs a settled defence
Kenny/Holgate - Doing 'ok' in a steep learning curve
Baningime - WOW
Davies - Up and down this season, will be class
Lookman/Vlasic - Will be star wingers
DCL - Shown he can play but needs goals..

I will start to feel more optimistic when I see the players played in positions where they play, some shape and some fight.

Rooney needs to go up top and told to play as a striker, do not drop deep, leave Gylfi in there. Get Lookman and Vlasic in to inject some pace, get Williams to never step foot in Goodison again, I was pleased when we signed him, but he is just a modern day Carl Tiler.

Schneiderlin can do one as well.

Keane, Holgate and Kenny - think they've all been really poor in all honesty. I appreciate the circumstances are really difficult for young and new players to come into this side, but I wouldn't dream of putting any of those three in my reasons to be optimistic just yet.
