Player Valuation: £35m
Everton are historically the seventh most successful club in England by trophies won.

Everton paid the 10th highest salaries last season.

We all spunked our pants when we Moshiri came in net worth £1.7b (2.3usd)

The reality is that he is about the 15th richest owner in English football. When players like Sigi are going for close to £50m and Champions League level players are £75-200m, football is a market that makes Billionaires look poor.
Manchester City probably have a squad value close to £1billion in todays market. Moshiri will never spent that amount on a squad.

Even with a billionaire owner, we are further away from competing with with the top four - who are far far away now and only increasing this gap.

Putting aside unrealistic ambition of Top 4 and taking survival this year as a minimal. Over the next three season, what would you think Allardyce needs to achieve to be deemed successful?

This season - Mid table 13th or better and a cup run (6th Round or better)
Next season - if hes still here he needs to have us close to the top 6 or in it, otherwise he end up getting sacked
Season after - I doubt he will be here at this point, even if he was somewhat successful.

This season is all about getting to 40 points. Next season, Top 7 and win a cup. Try to push for a top 4 place, so that if a couple of the established top 4 have an off season we can sneak in to the champions league. That’s the same as the last few managers.

A brown bag full of cash, the breeze through his string vest, and a vat of gravy granules to chew through.

Wine by the pint and the wailing of his team's own fans drowned out by the howls of discord from his enemies.

This pleases Bog Fat Scam.
