Like you don't already know

Maarten Martens

Roysten Drenthe

Phil Jagielka

Ryan Babel

Maceo Rigters

Dekel Keinan

Didier Digard

and many many more

I suspect Drenthe and Babel may be beyond our financial reach already, but I certainly agree with Rigters. I'd add Maduro to that list as well.

park ji sung.

perhaps united will never let him go.. but they have just bought 2 wingers this summer to go along with giggs and ronaldo and ofcourse park.

i doubt united will let him go and he is injured now... but we don't have anyone to play on the left.

downing would have been a good buy but boro are not interested in selling.

I think that is a great idea, except it sees us dealing with the manure again.

I like Gareth Barry, I think hes ready for a fresh challenge and he is left footed!!!!! i would actually have him as a left wing back and Neville a right with three centre backs and three midfielders:
3-5-2

That's a great call, but he is a villa lad and their captain and best player, he was unhappy about 2 seasons ago and we could have had it, but I think the boat has sailed and he will be at villa for life.

Yeah good shout that mick.

I'll admit my main reason behind this thread. When I done my coaching badge I got talking to an ex youth coach at Everton. I've still kept in touch because am meant to be going to America next year with him a few others to coach at a camp for a few weeks.

Anyway, I was told Moyes was going to put all his eggs in one basket for Gudjohnsen.

Just noticed this post on WSAG;

My Contact at Everton

Has told me that new players are to be unveiled next week but won't reveal any names other than Jagielka (towards end of week)

He has said that one is a free transfer, not fully agreed yet, another loan player and they are still trying to sort out the financial payments on a massive name.

Moyes wants the players all in within a week of players back training and Kenwright is a mentalist having Catterickesque flashbacks and wants no leaks until players revealed to the point of being obsessive and insisting agents sign non-disclosure agreements in discussions
Massive name?

Who knows?

Very unlikely but whats pre-season without some mindless gossip?

Smeagol..... that rings a bell..... where do I know that user name from...

anyway, I hope it is true, a defender come midfielder, a free transfer and a massive name.

That would be, BRING ON THE SEASON!!

to me.
