yeh. Was going to do Wednesday night in Zurich then just the matchday night in Bern, but doing both there now. Staying just one night in a place doesn't allow you to suss out the best bars etc.

its only a couple of miles away.

We are doing this as we are hiring a car. Duty free you can take 1 litre of spirit and 5l of wine/beer per person.
Obviously just take more and hope you don't get caught. If you do, it pay duty or probably seized. Worth the risk though!

I'm certainly no expert, but a lot of places need to order in the currency and say it takes roughly 2 days, so don't leave it too late

At this late stage, I would just get Euros and change them at the Airport your landing at.

Unless you are changinig 1000's of £££ then the exchange rate doesnt really make much difference.
