Gerardo Martino, argentine national coach, told media today that new guys called now (Funes Mori isn't totally new but this is just his second) will have continuity for sure in the national team.

So, if Ramiro finally signs, you will have an usual called to Argentina. Southamerican qualyfication to World Cup starts in October.

It's really hard to judge on video evidence which, typically, shows the better side of a player but I am inclined to agree with him and my first impression (last week) was that he looks good on the ball, makes some smart passing and good heading in the opposition area (a few goals) - and has a bit of an edge to his game (judging by his disciplinary record though we all know how physical the game can be in River-Boca games). I'd say he has a good chance of succeeding.
