Hmmm, he's the Sporting Director for RB Leipzig and New York Red Bulls. Two clubs, but if the Red Bull Sports brand is anything to go by, would this be a bit of a step down? Unless he particularly wants to return to team management?
I've just spotted someone mention a DoF appointment. Could be possible, but again, picking a single club over a global sports gig? Unless the fact that it's a Premier League job is the lure? MLS doesn't have quite the same 'clout' in Europe than it does in the US.
