What is the plan here exactly?

Gray / Townsend are just trying to get an aimless cross into the box, they have no support around them so can't work it around the box and when they do cross it in its Richy v 2 or 3.

Gomes picking up the ball but neither Doucoure or Delph getting past or near him to work it forward.

Fullbacks, baring Godfrey once, are not getting forward.


It's just completely pointless.
