We simply have to spend in January. What we have isnt good enough, i don't like the manager one bit, but he has to be given a chance, if this team remains as in after the Jan tranfer window, staying in this league may prove to be a problem.

Quite simply - if Utd lose Ronaldo to injury they have Cavani

If City lose Foden to injury they have Grealish

If RS lose Mane to injury they have Jota

If Chelsea lose Kante to injury they have Kovavic

If Villa lose Watkins to injury they have Ings

Most sides in the league have some form of effective squad cover - we have nothing outside of the CB options - we have 1x RB, 1x LB, 1x good CF & CM and 2x good wide players.

Only way teams like us do well is being lucky with injuries - West Ham barely get injuries and are flying, Wolves done well for 2 years without injury as did the RS until last season which they struggled temporarily.

Anyone who doesn't look at the glut of our injuries and our lack of any squad options are ignorant at best or have a clear agenda at worst.

We will probably never have a fully fit squad but you say the manager can't be judged until he has a fully fit squad

Injuries are inevitable. Good managers adapt.

How can fans put up with stuff like this week in week out and shrug their shoulders? Same fans who were up in arms about ancelotti but aren't arsed that we are playing worse under benitez.

How can they stomach going into games expecting and accepting that we are likely to lose? Even to the point of being happy that we might only scrape a point vs a newly promoted team.
