Moshiri aint daft he'll know from his last panic of Alladyce coming in to "save us" was a complete waste of time.

If we are bottom 3 20 games in then yeah he could panic but that aint happening.

DCL/Doucoure/Richarlison/Mina back on the pitch together = we win games of football again.
Gray was our only semblance of hope today and then.....Awful situation.

People arguing injuries aren't the issue.

FFS.

You have to be serious blanket and paint brush carrying members of the Benitez Out! gang to have the chutzpah to state that.
Thing is Dave, I got jumped on in the match thread for questioning our season long defensive frailties with the injuries argument. It works both ways. I've never been Benitez out and of course our woes aren't monocausal, but it's quite amusing when any criticism is rejected out of hand. By the same cartel of suspects. Not saying you're one of them of course.

He doesn't do anything Zat. There is absolutely nothing to take where you can say we had a plan today. Well sorry yes you can, the plan was not to get beat 5-0 that is all.

He's an embarrassment but no surprise with that as the people who hired him are an embarrassment too.

If the plan wasnt to lose 5-0 it was because he hoped they felt sorry for us and stopped sticking the knife in.

The injury point is not nonsense. Yes the board have failed with the recruitment and the squad they have left us with.

But we have seen teams, probably similar levels to us. Have good seasons with no or just one or two injuries. Wolves for 2 years, apparently the reason they struggled last season was because they sold one player and their main striker missed 3/4 of the season.

West Ham last year and this, Leicester the last couple of years. Got a few injuries this season and surprise, surprise they are struggling for consistency.

Even Liverpool last year. Apparently the worst injury crisis in the history of football. DCL already this season has missed more league games than, Salah, firmino and mane combined.

We always seem to have 3/4 long term injuries and then get loads of little ones with players missing 3 or 4 games. Yes maybe an attacking manager would make us play differently, but I think a world class manager would struggle with This squad.

But the board have totally screwed us over, by the fact we can’t cope losing 3/4 important players.
Leeds are missing their main striker and their main playmaker. Still playing on the front foot. Refreshing.

It's a terrible run of games, but when a defensive manager like Benitez is shipping tins of goals you know its the playing staff and not him to blame. He's never suffered this even at Newcastle.

The most optimistic scenario is a point at Brentford plus a 2-0 defeat in the derby.
That may be enough to keep us out of the bottom 6. But not for much longer than that. Bottom 3 by new year is very much in play.

The nightmare scenario is these players in the bottom 3 or near it come new year. Can’t remember last time we were in that position. Can’t trust these wasters to deal with that.

At what point to Evertonians lose interest in the football and just sit back and watch this train wreck unfold?

Moyes was in the job 7 years at that point and in command of the players and transfer policy.

How on earth are you comparing these two examples?
Why are you moving the goal posts again dave?

Moyes had better players out for longer periods of time and still had us winning games.

As Rafael would say, that a FACHT.
