Hi i'm from toonforum.co.uk and we like to ask a set of ten questions our upcoming opponents each week to see the views on the match from the 'other side'. We would really appreciate if you could do this as we like to use the responses as part of our match day build up. You are welcome to come across if you want to have some 'banter' about the match. We are a friendly bunch!

1 – How do you think you’ll line up?
Howard, Baines, Distin, Jagielka, Coleman. Barry, Osman, Deulofeu, Barkley, Mirallas and Lukaku.
2 – How was Everton's summer? Are you happy with the transfer deals done?
Fcuk yeah. Obviously it would be better to buy instead of loan but all in all we've definitely strengthened.
3 – What is your style of play going to be like this season?
like Barca, but better.
4 – Do you have any more talent coming through your academy? Who are the 'ones to watch'?
Not ours but Deulofeu on loan from Barca is definitely the one to watch if he plays. And Ross Barkley of course.
5 – Who should we watch out for / who is your biggest threat?
The ginger steward, snide fcukin [Poor language removed]
6 – Which of our players are you most afraid of?
Gazza
7 – What is your prediction for Everton this season?
Great hopes if we don't get too many injuries.
8 – How do you think Newcastle will do this season?
Honestly? Not as bad as last year, but not great. Some of those frenchmen you've bought look a bit average. upper lower half.
9 – Scoreline prediction?
2-0.
10 – If your football club was a fruit, what fruit would it be?
We might wear rainbow laces but we're not a fruit lad

1 – How do you think you’ll line up?
4-2-3-1...same lineup as Chelsea game with Lukaku on for Jelly...hoping Deulofeu starts over Naismith...but I don't think it'll happen.
2 – How was Everton's summer? Are you happy with the transfer deals done?
Overall, pleased. Some excellent business keeping Baines and selling Felli and Anichebe for well over what they're worth. We are a better and deeper side due to the business we've done.
3 – What is your style of play going to be like this season?
Build up from the back...passing game. If Deulofeu gets regular games that will give us three midfielders that will scare the sh1t out of defenses when they are running at them.
4 – Do you have any more talent coming through your academy? Who are the 'ones to watch'?
Barkely and Stones...plus the Spanish kid.
5 – Who should we watch out for / who is your biggest threat?
Mirallas and Lukaku...could be scary good working together
6 – Which of our players are you most afraid of?
Ben Arfa
7 – What is your prediction for Everton this season?
Somewhere between 5th and 7th
8 – How do you think Newcastle will do this season?
12ish...might sneak into the top 10
9 – Scoreline prediction?

1 – How do you think you’ll line up?

Back 5 is nailed on unless an injury comes up. The central midfield duo will be made up from Barry/Gibson/McCarthy/Osman and it'll be either Deulofeu or Naismith who starts on the wing.

2 – How was Everton's summer? Are you happy with the transfer deals done?

Very positive. Neville retired which is always fantastic news whilst we also let go Hitzlsperger and Mucha who had run down their contracts.

Joel is a pretty low risk acquisition considering he wasn't very expensive, is young and only a back up goalkeeper anyway. Alcaraz wasn't totally needed but we've heard good things, unfortunately he's been injured every single game, he wasn't going to be first team anyway though. Kone has been disappointing in the short time we've seen him and I think if we had gotten Lukaku earlier in the season we wouldn't have bought him but at least he provides some depth.

Deulofeu and Lukaku were both good loan signings, particularly the latter. We've been in desperate need for a 20 goal a season striker and if Lukaku repeats what he showed last year then we might have that for a year. Deulofeu is one of the promising talents in world football so should he step up then it'll be a bonus. Loan signings aren't going to be good for us in the long term though, I hope Martinez has a long term plan come the summer.

Selling Fellaini was ok because, although he's a talented player and I think he plays better further back anyway, he didn't really fit into the way Martinez wanted to play as he is too slow on the ball and doesn't have a particularly impressive passing range. James McCarthy is a better fit but we clearly overpaid.

3 – What is your style of play going to be like this season?

We are obviously going to attempt to dominate possession by building from he back, unfortunately Distin and Jagielka will probably have most of the ball. Although our full backs were already pretty attacking, they'll be encouraged to go forward as much as possible which means our wingers will have to look to come inside fairly often. Though, the more possession you have, the less likely you are to concede. We've struggled to break down teams who sit back and park the bus though so I'm hoping Pardew doesn't set out Newcastle like that on Monday.

4 – Do you have any more talent coming through your academy? Who are the 'ones to watch'?

Considering Barkley is now a first teamer then John Lundstram is probably the next up who is a strong central midfielder who's comfortable on the ball. Hallam Hope (20) and Chris Long (18) are also banging them in for the reserves at the moment so could come into something special, particularly the latter of the two.

5 – Who should we watch out for / who is your biggest threat?

We have plenty of individual threats. Baines and Coleman are both massive attacking threats in our style of play and Baines creates several chances per game and is, as you seen from last weekend a threat with set pieces. Kevin Mirallas is our best winger, very pacey and skilful though inconsistent. Lukaku is a beast.


6 – Which of our players are you most afraid of?

Loic Remy played superbly for QPR last season and has started off, at least in terms of goals in a similar fashion for Newcastle. Hatem Ben Arfa is a talent but also inconsistent like Mirallas. That's all really, Gouffran has scored a couple lately but I haven't seen a Newcastle game this season and you were woeful last season. Then again, you do have Pardew for a manager.

7 – What is your prediction for Everton this season?

We have a better squad than last season and we've started off the season fairly well. We also have a real striker this seasons which will be a boost. It's hard to say at the moment as things are going well. if and when we hit a slump then things will change but at the moment I'm thinking top 6 and top 7 should be a minimum looking at other teams in the league. It is a transitional season though so with a bit of leeway I'll accept top 10.

8 – How do you think Newcastle will do this season?

With Pardew, you'll probably be similar to last season even without the European commitments. Your squad is about 9-11th in my opinion.

9 – Scoreline prediction?

Night game at Goodison, I think we can offer a bit of embarrassment and thrash you 3-0 or something but it'll probably be 1-1. I think the first goal is going to have a big impact on the match.

10 – If your football club was a fruit, what fruit would it be?

the transfers themselves for me where average, disapointed too see Fellaini go but
overall a good window with the loans / Mccarthy from what ive heard has potential
to be a decent enough player in the near future

alot different from 'moyses' mostly playing out from the back
keeping possetion and not as much long balls as previously done
up too felli.

4 – Do you have any more talent coming through your academy? Who are the 'ones to watch'?
Lundstrum , Green , Hope , Long
dont watch the young ones much but follow them alot
match reports/ highlights and the names that stood out
not seen much of green but was sopposed to of had huge potential when signed
/ people ive heard of still thinks he can end up a great player.

theres so many now ... But as 'biggest i soppose thats just one.
dont think Lukaku's 100% to start should be but Mirallas

5-8th

I'd say Lukaku at this point. Baines on any set piece within shouting distance of your goal.

Does Tiote still play for you? Ben Arfa can be a handful.
