Would be good see Jelly have a run out and Pienaar back is always positive. I know Gibson is yet to win people over but I think he allows Felli to play with more freedom and for that reason I think he'll be missed. Also haven't we not lost with him in the side? That's a point in itself.

Yeah we're yet to loose a game with him. I am a fan of gibbo but he has actually been quite sketchy in all our games in terms of his passing and keeping the ball, so we should manage without him but I think he'll do well for us.

Didnt the Jelly man play for croatia last night? Or did i dream that?

If he did he should get on at some point, probably in place of the Straq attack after he scores his double hat-trick

JelaviÄ‡ came on at ht,did well,got fouled a few times,and was unlucky with one chance deflected over,ran abit,so hes ok,fellaini seemed in pain at the 50ish min point [back pain] for a few mins after been fouled,but carried on the rest of the game

Fantastic write up. I love the photo of the Littlewoods clock in May 85. We beat QPR 2-0 that day and collected the league trophy. I have never heard Goodison so loud. A great memory.

I Expected a win...but it's not 85, so fingers crossed.
