Just got home, thing with Pienaar was a minute maybe less before he went off he had fouled a lad and got a warning. The ref wasnt great all day but Pienaar was silly especially on a wet pitch going in like he did. We were poor all day, defence was usual but midfield and upfront the shape was poor, glimpses from Kev M but Neville and Osman couldnt tackle me never mind their opponents today.

Incidentally did anyone see me shake hands with Julio Cesar in the 2nd half? Just showing Evertonians are boss unlike dirty Leeds!

I was thinking of this, but then, its the same as pre/post WW2 records.

Its a reference point, thats all really, like a reset.

Why you haf to be mad?

"Everton are third, that will be their best finish in premier league history if they can keep it up"

"And everton have a tough run, Gary. Up against three premier league giants in Man City, Spurs and Chelsea."

Yeah and what im saying is it always used to be "Post WW2, blah blah blah".

And to be honest, its a different game these days anyway.

I bet you MOTD2 do not show the challange by Ryan Nelson on Victor it looked like an leading forearm smash on Victors head to me knocked out cold - no free kick awarded - it was never a clash of heads it looked a dangerous red card challange to me?

He was excellent when the rest of the team was excellent, imo (Villa, Man U, Southampton, Swansea, Newcastle) but yeah last two games none of our players have really got going, him included.

I'm not saying you're wrong, and maybe it is early Alzheimers, but I don't remember him setting the world on fire in any of those games. Jan to May last year he was virtually unplayable.

****e ground, ****e conditions, ****e ref.

Everyone bar Jag and Howard looked off the pace. A point isn't too bad when you consider the above and the fact that QPR have got better players than the league table suggests.

Still want us to be picking wins up against sides we're capable of beating. We've got to get our first choice midfield back ASAP and we'll get going again.

I don't even think Moyles would play Nev/Osman through choice any more.

a bit boring. Pienaar was going to get red if he stayed on the pitch its just a shame that he got a red when he didn't even commit that foul. I felt bad for Coleman, Anichebe completely abandoned him and Neville had to leave the centre to help out Coleman. Anichebe sort of freaked me out today. Every time he made a mistake he looked absolutely crushed. He is too harsh on himself. He shouldn't be starting with that kind of mindset, he is his own worst enemy.

oh well a point with ten men isn't bad!

Just watching that video clip of the Pienaar incident again begs me to ask who in his right mind can justify a yellow card for that - nevermind a red, changing the whole complexion of the game. If anyone should have received a yellow it should have been the QPR player for diving. For justice to be done it must be seen to be done!No amount of talking can rectify an injustice like that.
