I will probably play this team against RS:

Howard

Neville Jagielka Distin Baines

Naismith Gibson Osman Mirallas

Fellaini

Jelavic

Hopefully Fellaini and Gibson are fit next week. Pienaar is suspended. Hibbert is injured. Coleman is awful at defending so I have no choice but to play Neville at RB. Osman is playing coz we have no one (unless Hitzlsperger is match fit and you won't just throw him straight in). Playing Anichebe at RM is not working.

I told you never a lucky ground - we got 2 corners they broke with PN treading water a poor excuse for a midfielder & Coleman played okish under tremendous pressure Osman & Neville combined age is 65 they were are center mid today bith were poor as was the team performance at times - all in all happy to settle for 1-1 the sending off was a complete joke the guy slips over on his own we should appeal it!

For all those ****ging off the ref his decisions basically evened out, 2 pens not given and should have sent off Pienaar when he didn't and shouldn't have when he did. He was poor but I have seen worse and in far bigger games.

We were just overrun in midfield physically and didn't have the composure or skill to cope with it. A harsh reflection of our level unfortunately, two games in a row we've conceded soft opening goals and failed to control the game as a result. Naturally it makes it much harder to play away from home if you give them a head start, that's why you see the top teams kill the game immediately by playing boring keep ball for 20 minutes. You could see us trying to do that before they scored, but as the game progressed we simply weren't good enough to keep pace with them and it turned into a scrappy low quality game. Hopefully it won't affect us too much for next week.

We've all seen worse refs, doesn't excuse him like.

i might be wrong but i didnt think you couls apeal two yellows

Not too worried about the performance. We were dire yes but we'll be a different team with Gibson and Fellaini back.

Pienaar, OTOH, will be missed big style. That was the bad news more than anything else.

umm i think neville's pace against sterling's pace would be the biggest mistake ever. I thought coleman did alright defencevely today but his pace will be key against sterling. i know someobody will point to neville's handling of bale, but that does seem a very long time ago now
