Someone should sort a Booze Cruise from the marina to the ground, 3 full hours floating around the Mersey before going in the ground; would be excellent that.

If it goes out past the bar you might get duty free .

Why are people talking about a 30 minute walk as if it's a marathon? lol

I am 72 and I walk around our village and the next 4.6kms (2.85m) in 42 minutes, last time I clocked myself but I hadn't downed half of the pub and a late breakfast and I wasn't nattering to my mates .So by my reckoning it will longer than most are saying on here .

Not sure anybody was suggesting it is a marathon. I would suggest that most people will not be walking from town in any case, be it 20 minutes or 30 minutes. Soccerbus, taxi and train will be used by most and there will be some who will park up as close as they can. Generally speaking, I think BMD is a bit further from the city centre than a lot of fans think, that's all.
