Honestly don’t think I’ve seen one Everton defeat cause as much uproar as this.

Just my thoughts, but I reckon the reason for that is that people have bought into the new eraHonestly don’t think I’ve seen one Everton defeat cause as much uproar as this.
I think it's because it's so painfully predictable. Wolves have lost every league game this season. They made 9 changes and were essentially throwing this game. But low and behold we gifted it to them. I don't see it as an overreaction, more like continuing fume.Honestly don’t think I’ve seen one Everton defeat cause as much uproar as this.
There's deffo a bit of that but the starting line up was two fingers to the fans and the competition, and the fact it came within 48 hours of a press release making a big deal out of how seriously we were taking the cups this season emphasised that. The reason a lot of people, myself included, are perhaps disproportionately hacked off is that you could see right from the off that that was a losing side. Loads of people said it before kick off and it happened exactly as predicted. If a bunch of casuals on the internet could see it, there's a zero percent chance that Moyes couldn't. He just doesn't care about that cup and a lot of the fans are desperate for a pot. Look at how much it meant to the barcodes last season.Just my thoughts, but I reckon the reason for that is that people have bought into the new era
- and so anything that smacks of old Ev provokes a violent reaction.
