Do you think the priority this season is league placing? Or should Moyes go hell for leather to break the 30 year duck?

A quick saccharine high or longer term progress, possibly Europe and building a platform?

I’d go all out for the league cup personally but league placing is what a manager is judged on and what a manager will prioritise, it’s their career.

However, if we lose to West Ham I fully expect a relegation thread to be started within seconds of the final whistle.

Already a bit late for Moyes to be going hell for leather for a cup.

We barely play once a week so going for a cup and doing well in the league should be a given. Only when involved in Euope should there be a possible question as what kind of team should play in League Cup

Good to see the sports correspondents in the Echo actually call Moyes out for completely not reading the room and getting some well deserved flak for his rotation

Everton should focus on building a quality laden squad in the next few transfers windows and see where that takes us.

The PL is a corrupt competition and being 2/3 places better off in it by surrendering a cup chance is insane to me.

Cups. Finishing 10th instead of 12th makes no difference at all to the fans. A cup lives in the memory forever.

We shouldn't need to prioritise at all without European competition though. We don't play enough games to worry about needing to prioritise.

I'm more of a long-term stability into consistent cup runs progress kinda man.
