So who is prepping and what you doing? Have you got a bunker or a neighbours house you’ve got your eye on?

With WW3 round the corner (apparently) I thought a topical thread would be a good way to share ideas.

I have some wood in my poly tunnel to make a bow out of that I got 3 years ago after watching a series of Alone.

Now I can’t decide whether to hit the drink and drugs hard given what limited time we may have left. I’ve been trying to abstain since New Year but wonder if I’ve got this all wrong. Or do I start developing soup recipes using moss and badgers?

Or should we just start eating people we don’t like?

I just can’t decide it’s blowing my mind, but I knew I’d get the answers I need on here.

I bought a tin of that today, found a flask out so gonna take it up the match tomorrow

Still got 6 cans of dehydrated water I bought from the Army & Navy by the Adelphi after I watched Threads

It actually is a bit crazy the depths to which "prepping" has become a subculture here in the USA. There are several forums devoted to it, with crazy advice, on bunker design, defensive fortification, etc.

The fact that these are the people likely to repopulate the world (in their heads at least ... I can't see them trusting someone else enough to get within procreation distance) is enough to make me go outside and waychbthe bombs drop.

I prep for work, chicken and broccoli and a bit of nandos mayo. Saves me a fortune

Allotments will become the new urban battlefields as armies of scruffs roam the land in a the vain search for sprouts and parsnips.

I have therefore dug and covered pits around my allotment filled with razor sharp punji sticks. I will then finish off any survivors with my trusty spade.

Once the worst is over I will then fill in the pits containing the bodies and plant a few rows of Maris piper.

I came to the conclusion in the early 80s that the best thing I could do was climb on the roof and paint a big Bulls-eye

I was too young to see it when it was on but I've seen It on YouTube. I was traumatised by that animation When The Wind Blows, if I'd have been sat there and threads came on as a kid I reckon I'd have handed myself in.
