Make the 39th game multi ball and I might be up for it.

Or have a 3rd game type were everyone plays each other so it's Home, Away and Money grabbing so 50% more games.

Kuala Lumpar Red Sox are gobshites.

Up the Tehran Toffees!

Think it’s a dumb idea and playing one off games in different countries isn’t going to help other leagues catch up with the prem commercially. Realistically the only thing I think would help at this point would be having a new young star player from a country like the US or Australia lead a team in one of those leagues to a title and market the heck out of it in their home country.

Pulisic is the closest thing right now at Milan but his story is too far along to get people really interested in following and making it a priority.

Somehow, I don't think going to Australia is going to 'bring glory' to Seria A.

Only Serie A would find a country smaller (population-wise) to hold their match.

I thought about a format for this years ago with the 39th game.

I actually thought that you could schedule it as a last game of the season at the end of May. But one of the challenges is how to decide who plays who and where.

I think you would have 10 host cities/ stadiums. At the playoff final at the end of the previous season(As this is the earliest point we know all of the premier league teams for the next season) There would be a draw live on Sky/ TNT at full time, each host city would be drawn out, then each of 20 teams are drawn against each other.

I think that could be a real "event", plus the fans of each club have almost a year to plan their trip (if they want to go and experience it)

What if it's a relegation 6 pointer and you need a proper home crowd or get a result and you get the trophy? Thousands of that clubs supporters miss out on seeing the trophy lifted, when you should have been at home for the last game if it weren't for the 39th fixture.

Scudamore was ahead of the times with his "Game 39", nonsense.

The lure of the PL. Is huge, but being realistic... If it isn't involving the "Top 6", is there really any lure?

The big teams get a money spinner every season, to cut adrift! Thank everything for pure Non-League. No gimmicks, no drama.

Being a lover of football ( as in playing ) Not just because of being a fan, I can honestly say if I was a foreign fan I would still have the exact same opinion about this whole travesty as I do now..

Though I still don't believe it will happen..

It's weird and stupid, but it will be financially successful so it will stay.
It will generate a lot of extra cash from the start, especially for the bigger teams that may be pushing for it. The thing is the reason the bigger teams are pushing for it is purely to get more cash for themselves, not so that their club can be more solid financially, but more so that they can get their hands on more cash to fork out on agents, transfer fees and throw at players to bring them to their club. No surprise its La Liga and Serie A leading the way, Serie A is light years behind the PL in terms of bringing in money and clubs stadiums, and outside Barca and the Madrid teams there`s a big gap financially back to the rest for La Liga.

They tried it in the past, got push back from FIFA so never went with it.

Now that other leagues are doing it they will start it up again.

benjamin netenyahu leads two PL sides out at the Teddy stadium, the stadium is full but there's none of either sides supporters there, for security reasons seeing as tel aviv fans aren't welcome elsewhere, and so if the money is there sides can be trotted out for a never ending list of scum bags, and why not, idi amin? pol pot? putin got himself a world cup, it's the money that counts, that and validating whoever has it to pay up - regardless of who they killed for it. Dirty, filthy, blood money! Difficult to tell who's worse, the murderers paying or the shysters taking.

When football is finally sold off and is irretrievable, what's next? Olympics?
