This is a sister thread to the various "best performance" ones relating to Sunday's Arsenal game.

Which would you say is the best performances in each of the Premier League seasons? My picks are:

93-94 Liverpool (H) W 2-0 / 18.9.93
94-95 Man Utd (H) W 1-0 / 25.2.95
95-96 Sheffield Wednesday (A) W 5-2 / 27.4.96
96-97 Southampton (H) W 7-1 / 16.11.96
97-98 Liverpool (H) W 2-0 / 18.10.97
98-99 Middlesbrough (H) W 5-0 / 17.2.99*
99-00 West Ham (A) W 4-0 / 26.2.00
00-01 Arsenal (H) W 2-0 / 18.11.00
01-02 West Ham (H) W 5-0 / 29.9.01
02-03 Arsenal (H) W 2-1 / 19.10.02
03-04 Spurs (H) W 3-1 / 9.4.04
04-05 Villa (A) W 3-1 / 26.2.05
05-06 Villa (H) W 4-1 / 18.3.06
06-07 Tottenham (A) W 2-0 / 26.8.06**
07-08 Sunderland (H) W 7-1 / 24.11.07
08-09 Liverpool (HC) W 1-0 / 4.2.09
09-10 Hull City (H) W 5-1 / 7.3.10
10-11 Tottenham (H) W 2-1 / 5.1.11
11-12 Man Utd (A) D 4-4 / 22.4.12
12-13 Man City (H) W 2-0 / 16.3.13
13-14 Arsenal (H) W 3-0 / 6.4.14.... so far

*Not the 6-0 against West Ham, as they were thinking of far flung destinations rather than football but we still had something to fight for.

**I actually thought it was a better all-round performance technically than the Johnson derby, plus we did them with 10 men

Liverpool 0 everton 1 1999.

Last everton win at the pit

Everton 3- Manchester United 1 2010 ,

2-0 v leeds in 1995/96. We were down to 10 men after about 15 mins when Watson was sent off, but we still dominated and Kanchelskis scored a beauty

2-1 v liverpool at Anfield. Kanchelskis's first goals and THAT run and pass from Limpar

I wouldn't say City was our best performance last year, we were hanging on 'backs against the wall' for a lot of it.

And we tore teams like west ham, qpr, swansea and villa into shreds that year. Actually I'd even rate the 1-0 vs Utd higher.

But yeah Swansea away is my choice, top top perfrmance.

The 5-2 at Sheffield Wednesday was so so so.

As an Evertonian living near Sheffield it was perfect.

School was good the week after this!
