The hate on Robles right there makes me wonder if some of the posters on here have played one minute of football.

I have, mate. At least 7 minutes. He went down far too slowly and pushed it away with chocolate wrists.

The defending was woeful don't get me wrong, he's not the only one to blame and arguably he's not even most at fault. But he's got to do better there.

Strongly reminded me of Paul Gerrard.

got myself a shoutout lol.... anyways not so happy with holgate giving up on that chase for their last effort....zero cares he gave

Counter attacking system where he isn't the man tasked with closing down and running channels - e.g. his time at West Brom and early under Martinez.

He's always going to score goals, but he's a detriment in any system that requires him to either hold the ball up or close people down.

All we need to do is buy a single midfielder that can spot a forward pass, its quite simple, feed the Rom and he will score.

If you want somebody to run the channels, we can get Andy Johnson back probably.

No need to - play Deulofeu with him in a front two and bring in a worker who has a degree of talent too.

Not getting on Rom's case here at all - it's just that when you have a striker that talented in one area of the game, you should set up to exploit that.

Lukaku, McCarthy, Kone and Cleverley return to the squad and we suddenly look Martinez-esque again.

I'd happily get rid of all of them bar Lukaku this summer. Cleverley isn't terrible, but he's not mobile enough for what we're looking to do.
I think Cleverly can get around well enough, he just isn't technical enough and isn't much of a presence in that position in general.

Im sorry but Geri is utterly terrible up top, he should never play there again.

We wont play 2 strikers.
