I believe we have been pencilled in to play Birmingham City at St Andrews on Tues 12th July as they prepare for their Europa League qualifier. Also Werder Bremen has been mentioned for Tuesday 2nd August. Anybody else heard this rumour?
 

I'd take Werder Bremen. Birmingham aren't as bad as Bury or something, so that's not too awful.

Maybe Moyes is finally looking to play half decent teams in pre-season.

Something just doesn't sit right me there

How many friendlies do you think we'll be having by the way? If all goes ahead, is that 7 or 8?

I did say it was rumoured and was asking if anyone else had heard anything so i await
 
Another rumour via Twitter is that Collina is reffin the pre-season vs Villareal
 
Considering Birmingham will play their matches on 18 and 25 august, how will this prepare them exactly?
That said, i wouldn't mind playing with them, would be better opposition.
 

From the OS, we're playing Birmingham on July 30th.
