Not concerned about the result. The way the game panned out it really doesn't matter. We lost because of the lack of cutting edge at the front and a defensive lapse/world class effort at the other end. They'll have had a good runout there regardless even with none of them overly exerting themselves. On another night Geri would've had a hattrick there and Ross could've got one as well, it just didn't happen.

Overall a good runout.

That match demonstrated how much work there is still to do to "de-Martinez" this team. Geri worked his socks off which I'm happy to see. Central mid lacks creativity - crying out for Mata and Witsel.

I genuinely think that's it mate - re. de-Martinezing the side.

Koeman's playing so narrow at the back and the full-backs look a bit lost. They'll come good though, it's what pre-season is for...

We need additions and we need more competition. No real depth at the moment in several positions
