This thread has no doubt been done before, but was back for the first time in a long while for a pleasant surprise against Chelsea, and got to wondering - where do you start things off before the match?

The bar on Goodison Road on the left, before you come to the club shop is a decent, albeit rammed, boozer. Can’t remember the name of it though.

I’m in Fan Zone these days mostly anyway, kids to be entertained and all that.

...as a youngster my folks were centrally involved in Everton Supporters Club which was situated on City Road. It was staple for us on match days. As an adult I used to park at the Hermitage and have a couple in there before the game. In more recent times, i’ll pop in the Taxi Club or The Brick with my son.

The Arkles - apart from the Tommy Frost, it`s the only one that sells a half decent pint of real ale.

I quite like the Winslow myself although the Bouncer charged me £1 in before the Dinamo Bucharest game in 2005 which I still think is odd

I like the Oak, very similar to a local bar I drink in although loads more Blue shirts.
