What if when this is rearranged that we suddenly have players out with covid? Does it get rearranged again? Who gets the points if it cant be played?

We’ll be told to field our U’10s or face indefinite exclusion from the PL.

Our squad is down to bare bones, an extra couple of days rest will do is good and hopefully we’ll have more options to play them next time. No mistake, today’s game weren’t going to be our strongest 11 available with the quick turnaround of games.

Again though, City's squad would have been depleted tonight.

They'll also be significantly stronger when it's rescheduled.

Also every chance no fans when it is.

We can't just focus on Everton alone.

Yes I seem to recall that Blackburn failed to fulfil a match due to injury and the opposition were awarded the points. I think it even led to Rovers being relegated.

Got to admit i am pretty disappointed. Not that i was expecting us to win but i did think we had a chance to get something out of it and its always good watching Goodison live. Anyway, hopefully we will have some of our key players back for the reschedule and the extra few days rest will be beneficial so its not all bad i suppose. Still gutted though.

I know it's not a new phenomenon in football but the Premier League money does indeed talk.

Their second 11 is stronger than most teams first. I did fancy us to get a result today as it happens, but in terms of another rest day for players, no risk of injury to an already depleted squad in a hectic schedule, this is good news IMO.

City must of had loads out to seek a postponement.

Sure, we will be healthier for the reschedule but we'd have been playing their academy tonight.
