Of course I couldn't last a minute with Reidy, Vim, Monty, and some of our "older" posters so I guess I'm out of luck.

I've got to admit Alou Diarra appeals to me. He fits the bill in evey area. 6ft 3, puts his foot in, neat and tidy in his passing and has the athletisism to get around the pitch. He's at a good age at 26. Coming into his peak.

Him alongside a fully fit Fernandes and Cahill playing off them........yes please.

How strange would it be seeing a 6ft plus midfielder in an Everton shirt. Last one has got to be Kevin Kilbane. It would be the end of the midget gems.
