Paolo Di Canio, loved him for his flair and craziness but probably best remembered by blues for his fair play at Goodison when our Goaly was injured. If you've forgotten, he picked the ball up to stop play when he might of scored. He was given a standing ovation by the home faithful.

Dacourt & Materazzi to Everton

Dacourt was a fine player. Too short lived a time with us I am afraid.

Materazzi was an odd one in retrospect. Like we were a one season stepping stone for him. He had so much time on the ball. A much better player than his Zidane baiting career defining moment would suggest (I suppose it might suggest he won the world cup with snide - which is actually pretty, pretty good).
