Players who had a rubbish second spell..

Del (or whatever you want to call him) coming back has got me thinking of players who returned to the club for a second spell, but were rubbish or underwhelming second time around. (Not implying that Del will be)

I can think of a few, but I'll just start with one:

Franny Jeffers.

One at a time, let's see how many we get.

There's only perhaps Unsworth that was any good/worth the fee out of all of them who came back.

(Dave Hickson was a bit before my time & Howard Kendall came back as manager even though he was player-manager so I didn't include him as a player)

Bringing pienaar back after his loan has proved to be a big mistake in hindsight. Seemed good business at the time though.
