André Gomes injured and missed Lille's 2-1 win yesterday that took them to 4th place. One game left.

Joan Virginia also injured do not in his usual place on the bench as Cambuur bow out with a 4-0 win.

PSV finish the season on a high scoring a last minute winner v Alkmaar. 90 minutes for Jarrad Branthwaite in the last match of his loan spell. They finish 2nd.

JP Gbamin not even on the bench for Trabzonspor who won 4-2 tonight. Not listed as injured. Only 900 minutes played all season.

He and Dele Alli are going to be impossible to move on again next season and we will end up using precious resources part paying their wages while they go out on loan.

Hopefully Lille will buy André Gomes for a smallish fee as he has played 26 matches and they look like qualifying for Europe. Having a Portuguese manager could also help.

Alli and Gbamin will be moving on.

Gbamin will be mostly forgotten but he’s the worst signing of the lot. £24m, for less than a dozen games.

But his agent will get him a move and we’ll move him on, on a free.

Another manager will take a punt at Alli, could easily see him in the MLS.

Niels Nkounkou played 90 minutes in the last match of the season as St Etienne won 2-0. No assists or goals today. Still technically on loan until the end of the month although St Etienne have taken up their option to purchase him, apparently for £1.7m. Les Verts finished 8th and would have been 6th without the 3 point deduction they suffered. Rumours that they will sell him on for a profit but I wonder if they will hold on to him to push for promotion next season. Played all his games as a "piston" (wing back). Wasn't great defensively as a left back with Cardiff.

Some stats that for St Etienne

The only one we keep.

At this stage, Gbamin must be pretty close to becoming the '6 million dollar man'...

'We have the technology. We can rebuild him!' By now, I'm sure they're on Version 12.5 with no success.

It’s difficult, we can’t keep them all , but I wonder if this is another “ Antonee Robinson” , slipping away because we don’t have the patience to develop young players while retaining older players on over- long contracts.

Dyche looks ruthless. Both would go on perm hopefully.

JP Gbamin missed a second game through injury. Trabzonspor won and have one game left.

André Gomes also missed out due to an injury. Lille drew their last match 1-1 at already relegated Troyes. They drop to 5th as rivals Rennes won away. That's only a Conference League place so don't know if it will affect Lille's ability to afford to take André off our hands permanently.

JP Gbamin still injured so missed Trabzonspor's last game which they lost 3-1. They finished 6th. His stats for the season are not great. Apparently he only missed 9 matches through injury but played only 919 minutes all season (equivalent of 10 matches). Going to be hard to shift even on loan. One year left on the contract.

Harry Tyrer has already played 4 friendlies for Chesterfield. Big wins against Matlock and Alfreton only conceding one goal. Then this week losing 2-1 v Sheffield Wednesday and 2-0 v Sheffield United. Played the full 90 minutes in both Sheffield matches. Seems to be regarded as their no.1 but the manager also said they were looking to bring in another keeper to keep the pressure on him.

…I think he could be quite decent, bit surprised Virginia was given a new deal with this lad in the background.

A good win for Harry Tyrer's Chesterfield yesterday, 3-2 at League 2 side Accrington. He was replaced by a triallist on the hour with the score already 3-1. The triallist is a 28 year old from Solihul Motors so hopefully just a back up to Tyrer.

Presumably we will start to see more loans announced over the next couple of weeks.
