The time being spent in Holland is clearly of huge benefit to JB. However, as with other players we must be aware of the gulf in standards between the two leagues.
Another loan to a different league such as the Bundesliga next season might also be a help in rounding him off as a player.

This.

Depends what league we`re in.

If we`re relegated, there`s no way we`re turning big offers down for anyone.
If we do get relegated ideally we'd have him as a first team starter at that level, and get rid of some bigger earners instead. But yeah, if decent money was offered by a bigger club it would be hard to turn down and even harder to persuade him to stay. We'd probably need to sell 100m worth of players to make up the shortfall from relegation so if nothing else this loan putting him in the shop window will be financially helpful.

The 2nd loan spell where he has been dropped for being a bit rubbish: https://www.[Publication is blackli...s-everton-man-hammered-for-too-many-mistakes/

EFL loanee round up..

Tom Cannon started for Preston v Burnley and came off after 68 minutes with his team losing 3-0 which is how it finished.

Tyler Onyango starred but came off injured after 21 minutes for Duncan Ferguson's Forest Green v Morecombe. It was 0-0 when he came off. The match finished 1-1.

Ryan Astley still injured for Accrington.

Lewis Warrington played 90 minutes in Fleetwood's 2-1 win at Charlton.

Lewis Dobbin scored a late consolation goal as Derby lost 3-2 at Wycombe. He played the full match.

There is no way we could think about letting Branthwaite go
Would be a tremendous shame, looks like he could potentially be the full package - tall, strong, quick, two-footed with great distribution, now adding goals to his game. Space needs to be made for him to grow into a starting position alongside Tarkowski next season. From a financial viewpoint, he'd be worth an eye-watering amount if he replicates his current form in the PL, would be incredibly short-sighted to sanction a quick sale this summer imo.

Branth scored again just its 85 minutes in and PSV are battering Groningen 5 to nothing. Goals and a clean sheet, who is this lad.

Sign him up! Yo!

At the same time, the Eredivisie is a bit cack so we shouldn't get too carried away. A lot of players are going for megabucks from there right now but don't all look that special once they hit a proper league. If Man United or whoever want to get a bit silly based on a year with PSV it's worth hearing them out.
