Our midfield is probably the weakest in the league by far.

We have no players who look comfortable in a 2 and no 2 midfielders who compliment each other.

Personally think we need to abandon the two but whatever happens you aren't wrong. However there is no way you're convincing me 30m on someone at 29 years old who hasn't been in the league and isn't obviously a very high level player is worth it. Hojbjerg and someone younger with big potential for 20m and you can invest heavier in the wing or RB.

I say this weekly on here but I don't know how you can watch this team play and think "that's just one strong window from the Champions League." It is going to take time and buying a player who is short on it for big money makes no sense.

With that in mind Hojbjerg is a very sensible signing.
