Pienaar

in all honesty if we secure Steven P and dont get shafted to give Naismith back, plus hold onto our players linked away (baines and felli) then i will consider this a very goos transfer window. would like to see a few more names but those dealings above would be ok

I very much doubt we will get shafted to give Naismith back. I also doubt that Baines or Fellaini will go anywhere this season.
IMO Everton will have Pienaar in within the next few days (only from what I have read on Twitter from LCAB and FO) and I also think on top of that, there will be two out and one/two others in.

Yobo will hopefully be sorted soon, in order to initiate the Pienaar transfer and Vic hopefully on his way for 4/5m. Would be good to see him go, beacause I really do think Victor could do well at a club other than us, we have seen the bad in his game far to often now to praise him for how he has actually improved when he's fit, a fresh start would do him good and I would only wish him all the best.

That would constitute a very good summer window in my eyes.

I'm not gonna lie, if we only get Pienaar and Naismith I won't be happy. Even if that is with no players leaving.

We still have areas that need replacing/improving and I won't be happy until they are.

However, it will be an improvement on previous years windows yes.

Yeah agreed mostly, but i think we need at least one more after the two Steves, and there will be.

Also, am the only one that thinks its wrong these two share the same first name:

Theyre so different...

Disagree, i believe once Pienaar is done that'll be our business concluded in or out

you just don't know Everton, LCAB, THT or David Moyes do you? please look back at what's gone in the past and how many people find our top-rated sources thoroughly reliable and then revise your opinions. I do like you though.

Where have LCAB/THT said we WILL get players after Pienaar ?

they have said there will be further activity in the window beyond Pienaar, a few irons in the fire.

They also said we were interested in Pranjic and Rodallega, then POOF.

Nobody is doubting the reliability of them as sources, but it's a perfectly valid opinion to say that we won't get any more players after Pienaar, as it seems certain that any more notable signings would require outs before ins.

Seems to me that our transfer activity from here on out will depend solely on other clubs coming in for our players.

think Naismith will be a right-sided player for us.

Could be one of a number positions mate. I suppose it depends how we set up, 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1 or 4-4-2. I can see him playing one of the inside forward roles in a 4-2-3-1 or in the hole, or in the Cahill role of a 4-5-1. I dont think he would give us natural width for other formations and i think we need that in the squad for some formations. Pienaar can cut inside but he can also hit the byline. I think we need someone similar for the right, someone to come inside (Naismith can) but he wont get to the byline. Someone like Matt Phillips would add somethign to squad.

Can see us though waiting for Donovan in Jan.
