Going about on twitter, that cos he took a cut in wages when they went into administration, he's got an agreement to leave in the summer for £2m.

Also, fourth official says the person who broke the Jelavic interest and deal to him in Jan as also sounded him out about Naismith to us and another ITK as said Weir as recommended him to Moyes.#


I think the big thing at Rangers at the moment is that all the players who took 75% wage cuts a few months back, that deal ends on June 1st and they revert back to being paid their full 100% wages. So Rangers will be actively looking to slash their wage bill asap from that date, even after this new takeover that seems to be about to go through.

Well, if this is true, I can see us going after this guy or Steven Davis or Lee Wallace from their squad. It should be realistic for a small fee like that.

Anyway, Steven Naismith in season 10-11 had 11 goals and 9 assists in 31 games of Scottish league next to Jelavic. 16 goals and 7 assists for Jelavic in 23 games in that season. I think he could be a really solid player for as and I definetely see him like a Moyes type of signing.
