The amount of penalties Kane gets like that is criminal. He anticipates a touch and launches himself over. He's untouchable in the EPL. Gets away with so much dirty play as well. His backing in to jumping centre halves is so dangerous. Privileges of being England's golden boy.
Yep. Genuinely feels like he's tucking away penalties on almost a weekly basis. If only we got half as many penalties as the likes of Spurs, but obviously that would take us getting into the box on a regular basis which we don't do. And to be honest even if we did, our players are thick and wouldn't be able to do what Kane does; Gordon would end up getting booked, Gray would try to do a piece of 'smart' play and get dispossessed, McNeil would start crying and give up possession.

My first thought is it was a penalty. After seeing the replay I still thought it was a penalty. But after seeing the slowed down replays from other angles, it was clear that it was a penalty.

I don't think any single oerson other than the most extremely biased Everton supporters would think otherwise.

Was a pen, wish we had a player half as good as Kane. On a side note I've always wanted harry kane to put on a kane mask and chokeslam one of his team mates after scoring just for the laugh (not against us obviously)

We were awarded more penalties than Spurs last season, despite being in the box far less.

Wait.

What about that image makes you question the decision ?
Nature of the contact, I understood Kane made the most of it, but thought it was more significant than it appears in that still.
Assumed Pickfords arms / hands had made contact with his legs that invited him to take a tumble, not head meets thigh.
Don’t get me wrong, simple fact that Pickford moves forward into him gives the ref a relatively simple choice, just it’s a more flimsy pen than I initially thought.

Depends where you are with EPL, yesterday year when football was football no way was it a penalty. But it's 2022 and it's now about entertainment and what is good for the EPL so it's a pen yesterday.
For me it's a farce we have to put with these matches, just hope scab 6 make better fist of it when their new league comes knocking again we should hurry them all on their way, let rest of us get on with football.

In the 1st half the ref decided he needed a word with Seamus about god knowswhat by the half way line in a stoppage of play. Pickford walked from the goalmouth and got involved. Looked like the ref was telling him to go back in his area, and Pickford was giving him lip. Only lasted about 30 secs but i just knew any decision involving Pickford for rest of game would go against us
Was it a pen. Soft but probably yes. Would Gordon get the same decision in that match if roles reversed?
