PC ILLITERATE - HELP

I'm ok on computers, average knowledge to get to navigate around, set up avatars etc - but hopeless with links.

I often see people posting links to Ytube videos and the full picture is on view. I can only get a link code when I press share on Ytube and it come up with the link code. How do you do the link with the picture of the video?

Example: there is a thread called 'what are you listening to' and some cat has posted a Ytube video of Black Sabbath, and the full picture comes up. the same with another cat with Alice In Chains. How do you do that?

Appreciate any help.

When you press "quick reply" or "reply with quote", on the toolbar above the text box there's a few buttons. Click the second one in from the far right end and a box will pop up, thisis where you paste your youtube link and it will show the video.

What BLF said, anyway. It's a little filmtape thingy, click on it and paste your link.

Cheers Bains and Duality, yeah, it sort of makes sense - I'll try it now. Cheers. PS: Dulaity, I saw Layne Stayley with AIC in 1993 supporting Megadeth. He was pretty out of it, but a great show all the same. Sound was awful, as it always is for Megadeth, but seeing Layne was an experience.

Even at the Sonisphere the sound for Megadeth was sh*t. And that gig was shown all around the world and put on a DVD and stuff, I mean seriously Dave?

Just remove the asterisks and insert your own urls- copy and paste from top of your browser or right click and click 'copy url' on pic or video (unless you're a bad hipster Mac user like Bry).

One last thing lads - how do I get a signiture at the bottom of my posts? It took me about a day to suss out the avatar picture, and I don't want to go through all that again.

just keep wiggling your mouse mate and repeatedly hitting "F2"

you'll get it in the end !

You need to pay a subscription to upgrade your account, there's a ton of extra features if you do that!
