jesus, didnt realise was so bad , 100's people living in tents, still massive lack of healthcare, republican debate -'what should happen to someone who cant pay for their healthcare, let them die?' people in the audience shouting 'yeah!'
for all the faults of our benefits system at least we have a safety net

disgraceful really...

Romney have no chances against Obama. So dont worry about that. Another thing is, what can Obama do? Atleast he tries to change thingys.

yep sounds like hes up against it! i just cant understand the 'let them die' atitude, especially from supposedly god fearing party!

Its pretty scary that a massive country with the intelligence and scope of the American civilisation can't get the basics of Health Care right. Or so it seems from someone who can walk into a Hospital and get treated without prejudice.

What about your new fella mate! This Finn revolution coming?

We don't often see the real side of America, just like we don't meet U.S. working folk much over here - mainly rich tourists or smart universoty students.

It's always amazed me that a country with so much talent and energy comes up with such poor candidates for national office.

they always are the ones who are sauced. :)

We shouldn't judge the USA by what we do or don't do. All countries have their own beliefs and priorities based on prevailing prejudices. Parts of Europe think our support to retired folk is barbaric and others think our medical care is a joke. We have what we want and so do the USA.............
