No, i don't agree that selling our two best players and the only proven striker we have and giving Moyes £15m to replace all three would have us comfortably mid table.

Only 9 points separates us from 14th place. Jelavic has won us 9 points on his own since January, and i hate to think how many points we would have dropped without Fellaini scampering around keeping constant pressure on the opposition.

Baines is decent too.

All three are absolute class. What I'm saying is Moyes could probably replace all three with a third or less of what we'd get if we sold them. I'd be expecting circa £60m for them three maybe more.

Pienaar, Teta, Cahill, Baines, Gibson and Neville all together is what Moyes gets ya for £15m.

I just wish he'd cheer up.

personnaly for ten million or so id sell rodwell. he does not play enough games and we have cover in his position, we have shown we can win big games without him. maybe sign diame on a free as cover and use his fee to strengthen other areas

We are good at that. Excellent point. If we do sell (ugggh), we will get our money's worth, I'm convinced of that at least.

For me, if we have to sell, one of Jags or Johnny, Rodwell, Anichebe and that's about it. I don't think we can afford to lose Baines or Felli at just about any price just yet. Maybe in a year or two, Garbutt or Bidwell will be ready to step in. Duffy's just about there, so I think we can afford to let a CB go if we have to. Don't really want to sell Rodwell, but not sure if there's room in the side for Felli, Rodwell, and Gibson.

Face it, depth is never going to be in the cards for us. We can't afford to keep quality players on the bench like others.

Everybody who is worried about Baines going should think about the interview Felli gave a few weeks ago where he said that he wanted ins this summer, and that he wanted the club to show it's commitment to moving forward.

Now with that in mind, imagine if Baines were to go in the Summer.
