Seen a lot of shouts today for 'progress is beating the top 6 away'. Perhaps it is in some sense. But for me progress will be taking far more points from 'the rest' than we have this season. Indeed, as it turned out, it was the bottom 14 that cost us this season, not the top 6.

Player Valuation: £35m
In the end, that loss to Fulham looks like it was the difference between making Europe or not, as many suspected. Despite the horrible middle of this season, that little margin made the difference, which I suppose is both a disappointment and a positive for momentum into next season.
