Having watched the Ferguson testimonial one thing struck me was the pointing/directing on the pitch him and rooney were doing when they came on ! didnt see any of it until then from our other players . Jags does his bit by the occasional burst out of defence but we dont have anybody to orchestrate on the pitch.

Closest to them are probably McCarthy and Bešić. Really don't like an idea of John Stones being "Everton's next captain". After Weir, Neville and Jags please this time let it be someone with the balls

Stones will be a great leader. Do you remember his reaction when Oviedo broke his leg? Real leadership, was there comforting him when older pro's were too upset to get close.

He'll captain like Bobby Moore.

I'd still take Coleman as captain ahead of Jags though.
