Whilst I think we have to most amazing fans anywhere, travelling home and away . I just think that the way some fans think it’s ok to berate and slag our players off is diagusting . Last night the fans behind me constantly shouting obscenities at our own players , Myko , McNeil Barry etc . I wouldn’t want to perform getting all that abuse , yes the first two had shocking games , but they are the scapegoats now DCLhas moved on . I know everyone has the right to make their own choices . But come on blues let’s get behind the lads . If some one had said we’d be 3 pts behind them across the park after 24 games I’d be buzzing

How is this supposed to make our players perform better?

We did the same with John Stones!

I notice that DCL has spoken of his disappointment at our "supporters" booing him when he had his face horribly injured away at Villa.

Not even bothered by people who give the odd negative comment. It's the sitting in silence which is the real killer. People say all home fans are quiet but we are without doubt the worst for it. Don't know how thousands of people can sit and make such little sound.

The way I see it is unless you're being a complete POS chanting bigotry ( I've only heard it a few times back in the early nineties and even then they were drowned out but c*** shouts ) I think you're allowed to shout and moan when a player makes a bad decision or he's tried to score screamers half a dozen times .

Personal stuff name calling like you're S*** and f*** off back to Burnley is a bit much but understandable if you're losing a game .

As others have said , Anfield like apathy is worse than boos in my opinion.

Perhaps If they managed to play with intent and put a tackle in that’s the minimum I want to see effort

We always have and will have a lot of numpty fans, definitely one of the worst in the league for backing our own players. You only have to look at how many of ‘our own’ have been treated appallingly, yet foreign mercenaries re worshipped.
