Our corners

Ganas cross hit the first man for United breakaway goal we had players unmarked on the back post he is a liability in our midfield imo..
I'm responding to set pieces Joey, which is Garner and they are perfect, it's how we set up to attack them that fails.

You are talking Gana, who fluffed his cross (Not set piece) whilst being out of position and leaving a hole.

Please for the love of my sanity, can you start actually reading my posts, before responding.

Our set pieces aren't an issue, it's how we set up to attack them..

What tactics where they ?
No chance of scoring blocking the goal line in that way ?
No player to run on to the ball any corner cross
Plus if a knockdown fell to one of our players goal line totally blocked?
School boy tactics FGS !
I don't mind the 'put on the goalie' style if the goalie struggles with that. It's one of Lammens' strengths and not altering it after so many opportunities is just pathetic really
Also why don't we have a set piece coach ffs? These days it's essential

I have posted a full thread about our corners which were pathetic- our crosses from open play are poor also the fact we have no overlapping full backs DM had them on our bench !

They are our corners were crap....

It was pathetic, that. Looked like we assumed that, because their keeper is young, he’d flap under all that pressure. Then, when it became abundantly clear he wouldn’t, we just kept doing it anyway.

With the height we have in the team - The one upside of CBs at FB - we should have been giving them something to attack.
Jake might have been a help at some of those, but not if he joined the throng in the six yard box.

Tactics awful. Ten corners to their one.

Einstein's theory of insanity - doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

*It is not certain that he actually said this but the name has stuck.

Was like a Sunday morning when somebody says the keeper is meant to be a bit dodgy on corners. Stick the first couple in on him and see how he deals with it.

Only difference between that and last night was the Sunday league team realise after the first couple that the lad who said it was wrong. And don't try it another 8 times.
