Brighton 5-1 probably because it was absolutely crucial in us staying up.

Our best win in a long time. I'm a big believer in not focusing on any individual game because every game is only worth 3 points, but it's difficult not to acknowledge just how impressive that was tonight.

Brighton?

Yeah, that was incredible for two reasons: the magnitude of the performance was unbelievable, but the importance of the points put it through the roof. That was probably our best win in a huge game since beating Spurs 4-1 in the cup semi.

But tonight was about restoring our pride as a football club, a stepping stone to restoring our status. We used to regularly beat United. A win over them was never a shock, but has become so since Bill Kenwright joined our board.

This was a great night. Let the rebuild begin. As KDH said: "We are not sitting ducks just waiting to be beaten."

Yep. 1-5 away from home when we were struggling near the bottom and Brighton were very decent with few home defeats up til then.
