On last season alone he looked turd but a lot of our squad didn't really shine did they?

If we can get him fit and Koeman has a word with him, we could be looking at a potential player who could add to the squad.

I doubt he could do 10 keep-ups. In P&L terms we need to write the £14m off as bad debt and move on. I'd say we would struggle to recoup £3m on him.

Would happily let him go for £2 million tomorrow, fair play to the optimist but his performance against West Ham at home is one of the worst I've seen. His attitude is awful, he didn't even try half the time when he came on as a sub.

It's a safe bet he's shocking in training isn't it.

Martinez wouldn't even have him in the squad with his job on the line - it's unlikely he was tearing it up in training.

I wouldn't worry, nor could Gareth Bale at his Real Madrid signing press conference and he's turned out OK for them
