He didn't appear to have a lot to beat in the clips I saw. It will be interesting to see how he performs in the Premier League, with not much space nor time. At £13.5 m, it's not in my opinion money 'well spent'. I wonder why the others ( Man Utd, Chelsea etc) dropped their interest?

Not sure how you can make an assessment on whether or not it is money well spent given he is yet to kick a ball for us.
