Correct. He had a big season (17 in the league) the year prior. He had ten in all competitions last year - one in the Copa and three in Europa, IIRC.

He's a very hit and miss player, I assume Newcastle are paying for the future potential if he lives up to it, but yeah his last season wasn't prolific enough to be worth £60m.

Yep, that was an amazing signing, I have him as captain in my Fantasy Prem team this weekend.

If our summer window turns out to be Matt Target, Sven Botman, Nick Pope, Alexander Isak, Joao Pedro, and then Christian Pulisic on loan, It would be a 10 out of 10 for me. Possibly dip in to the window in January for a little bolstering in certain positions.

I think everyone was shocked about Isak, the news has dropped out of nowhere haha, I get why you're paying the price though, his potential is seriously good, but maybe at this moment time he's not the out and out finisher he can be, you're building a seriously good team.

But 250m spend is obviously going to put pressure on losses of 110m like. Especially with the added wages. You're probably going to get to a limit quite soon, and you've bought a lot of players who are old with no sell on value.

Let's just see how this FFP pans out, you may find that the people behind the scenes have a fair idea how to push things beyond any conceivable limit. FFP will not become a problem to the club, not a chance. In 5 years time you'll probably be asking if it even exists.
