That BBC article mentioned earlier contains comments not often seen from GOT contributors such as "Sharp in the tackle and swift with the ball" and "His stats bear out his brilliance as an all-rounder - there are very few weaknesses in the Osman armoury". Unusual stuff from Media to describe an Everton player. The fact is he is a great distributor of the ball and can retain possession (if not shoved off the ball by a 6ft plus troll) which England have been crying out for. Good on him I say.

Better late than never but well done Ossie. Now hope he gets on and shows what he can do.

We will never know now, but Ossie could have been a more consistant international player than he is a premiership player.
His style is something that England have not had in the team for years and years. Too much time was wasted into trying to gel Lampard and Gerrard. Even now, Osman offers a technique that the other squad players do not have. However, he will be a sub at best as I am sure that he will not even get as much playing time as Scott Parker did. It is time for Gerrard to be retired also.
