Two minor questions, neither worth making a thread about so thought I would throw them together.

1. Anyone seen the replay of Osman's ninja kick? Red worthy? Looked well dodgy when I saw it.
2. Noticed Distin holding his shoulder again today? I know he hurt it last week and I am hoping its a coincidence, anyone know if its the same shoulder? Last thing we need is Distin carrying an injury.

Osman could have easily been off, terrible challenge.

Don't think it would be that serious for Distin, well at least I hope not.
 
Osman got the ball first and considering the 2 footer 2 of their players got away with (one with a yellow IIRC) then a yellow was the Everton side of fair. Thought the ref was a tit again tbh and hope he never officiates anything ever again. As for Syller he was rubbing his pride because his so called fellow CB let him down so very badly and he knew he would have done a better job had he been an amputee.
 
1. Thought Ossie deserved a yellow personally but we've seen reds for less.
2. Nothing hurts Distin except when he steps out of the shower and catches a glimpse of himself in the mirror. Then he hurts for the rest of humanity.

Bruce Lee/Chuck Norris 5 minutes before the credits roll in any of their films. A yellow for sure without doubt even though he got all of the ball well before he got near the man.
See Collocini vs Ba and wonder what happened there.

Horrible challenge, but to be fair to Osman, it's his knee that makes contact, not the studs (indicating that he tried to pull out of it). Certainly a yellow, possibly a red for me.
 
Didn't send off Lowdon for his challenge on Baines (would have been a bit harsh in my opinion) and didn't send off Osman for his challenge either. Let the teams play.
 
Find me anyone who thinks there was an ounce of malice in Ossie's challenge = yellow. Horror tackle, yes but Ossie will do that twice in 9 years. Yellow all the way.

Sadly, a Distin injury = Duffy getting some run. Duffy getting some run leads to Heitinga eyeing the pine. I do love some hard Heitinga, but he's been limp at best. Not even the same player this season - for one who thrives on wearing it on his sleeve, I haven't been convinced once this season.

Ref did a good job that match. Was fine with a yellow on both.
 
I thought we were going to see red based purely on the performance on the officials rather than the tackle itself. I haven't seen a replay though.
 
Can't recall the challenge, but the officials were awful anyway. Their lack of communication was pathetic.

Anyone remember when the ref gave 2 offsides without the linesman even putting his flag up?
