you coming to goodison on saturday mate.

Unfortunately not mate. It has become a chore watching us play away from home to be honest - 1 win in 24 away tells you all you need to know. Just not worth the money at the moment to see Pulis set us up for a draw and fail miserably!

How very cheerful :)

okay mate.

Byekaj, are you for or against Pulis? I'm amazed at the stuff I read on Oatcake about Pulis.

It's a difficult one to answer mate and i'm not really sure

Mention a bad word about Pulis and people will jump down your throat - "look where you were when he took over", "look what happened to Charlton", "be careful what you wish for" etc..

But it is becoming harder and harder to defend him for a few reasons

- his stubborn refusal to drop out of form players because they are his favourites - Walters, Crouch, Whelan
- his insistence on trying to justify the price we paid for Crouch by starting him over Kenwyne who looks consistently more threatening whenever he gets a chance
- the standard of football we are treated to week in week out is just abysmal at the minute
- constantly playing players out of position because of his failings in the transfer market - On Saturday we will start with a striker on the wing, a centre midfielder at left back and many more sqare pegs in round holes
- setting up not to lose away from home rather than attempting to win
- apparent inabiltiy to manage better players
- refusal to move an inch from his one and only system - 4-4-1-1

In the last couple of seasons we have moved backwards, despite healthy backing from Peter Coates

In all honesty I think Tony has taken us as far as he possibly can and I would like a change in the summer. I am, of course, extremely grateful for everything he has done for us

It always has been mate, when I saw that its you guys on sat my heart dropped as I missed the Man City game so left Goodison disgusted after the Wigan game, I need cheering up ffs not watch the brand of anti-football that you guys inevitably bring each year. On the plus side you wont be able to wind up Fellaini this time, and I'm not sure we have anyone else that 'Tactic' works with.

I reckon the real reason you aren't coming is cos your heading over to Burslam for their 1994 day, be like Tomorrows World for somebody from Stoke that, a glimpse of 40 years into the future.
