4th March 1964 - Everton's Captain Roy Vernon congratulates Fred Boomer Pickering following his hat trick against Nottingham Forest, Goodison Park - on a mud heap of a pitch - for @roy vernon & co - little did Roy know he would make way for Fred as it turned out, when most fans thought the GV would be on his way out -

John Houlding at a Council Meeting in January 1896 where he was out manoeuvred by Everton Board members for us not to pay the high inflated new rent, and move to Goodison park- Dr Baxter giving us an interest free loan to build a new Stadia built over the other side of Stanley Park Mere Green Market garden site disused.....- Houlding King John was fuming tried to pinch our name which the FA stopped him, & started another Liverpool team off taking a few of our playing staff too -
