Yep we had just signed Lineker and won charity shield against Utd in lineker's first game iirc.

My point was that while Bailey was in the photo for the start of the season it didn't mean he played for us again after that. As it turns out though, he did.

Yeah, I was surprised to see him I the photo. In those days we used to sign and strengthen first and then release players after we had strengthened!!! Not correcting your comment mate, just confirming that the photo was August 1985 immediately after the charity shield.
