This thread has been the best one for the last few years and has kept me going as an Evertonian.

Wee, Bobby Collins the pocket gem of our midfield took us from relegation fodder up into the top six - the failed Manager Ian Buchan brother knew Collins & it hepled to fetch this Celtic Scottish international for a big fee to Goodison park - he was an instant hit with the fans & his performances then better players signed moved Everton then under John Carey pictured here with Collins under John Moore's up the league -

It was Bobby's 2nd visit to player for the Blues as at the age of 17 he joined us as an apprentice & our board used the wrong forms to keep him & Celtic stole him from us as The SFA told us we had made a mess legally of not signing him on properly - Everon That - They threatened to take Celtic to court , but backed away when they realised what an error they had made ,,,,,

Then later again like Bally they let him go as they thought he was too old - another Everton that scenario
